Rhythmic gymnastics is an Olympic sport that combines elements of ballet, acrobatics, contortion, and creative movements to music, while working with ribbons, balls, hoops, ropes and clubs in a highly choreographed dance-and-tumble routine.  This structured program is designed to develop more complex rhythmic gymnastics skills and build strength, agility, flexibility and technique.  There are specific technical skills required to compete at each level and all gymnasts will be assessed prior to placement in any level.  These gymnasts will compete in Manitoba and may compete across Canada and the USA as well.  The time commitment in this program is 2-6 hours per week.
